Varde on Webflow
Add Varde to a Webflow site in a minute. Custom code needs a paid site plan in Webflow.
Add the script
- Open your project and go to Site settings → Custom code.
- Paste the script into Head code and click Save changes.
- Click Publish. Custom code only runs on the published site, not in the Designer.
<script defer data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID" src="https://vardeanalytics.com/js/script.js"></script>Register your custom domain in Varde. To also count visits to yoursite.webflow.io, add that as a separate site.
Track goals
Paste this into Site settings → Custom code → Footer code. Then give any button or link a custom attribute named data-goal with the goal name as its value, for example signup. Every form submission is also sent as a form_submit goal, with the form's name as a property.
<script>
window.varde = window.varde || function () { (window.varde.q = window.varde.q || []).push(arguments); };
document.addEventListener('click', function (e) {
var el = e.target.closest && e.target.closest('[data-goal]');
if (el) varde(el.getAttribute('data-goal'));
});
document.addEventListener('submit', function (e) {
var f = e.target;
varde('form_submit', { props: { form: f.getAttribute('data-name') || f.id || 'form' } });
});
</script>Add goals with the same names in your dashboard. See Goals and events.
Check that it works
Open your site in a normal browser window. The add-site screen shows Connected once the first pageview arrives, and the dashboard fills in within a few minutes. If nothing shows up, see the checklist at the bottom of Install on your platform.
